- Workplace law continues to be dynamic and much has changed recently. COBRA benefits were just extended. The ADA and FMLA received makeovers. OSHA is recommending that all employers develop Safety Plans. The Independent Contractor and Wage and Hour laws are being aggressively enforced; and we all have an obligation to secure personal information, just to name a few. Good News! Version 2 of the 2010 edition of “The Employers’ Guide to Understanding Massachusetts Workplace Law” is now available, upon request.
Here is what some of our client’s are saying about us:
Stephen Abbott, Retired (President and CEO) of Cape Cod Healthcare: “Cape Cod Healthcare has an obligation to treat its employees well and fairly, while at the same time controlling its costs. Foley & Foley enables us to do just that and our annual fees are established in advance.”
Margaret Corriveau, Executive Director of Heritage at
Falmouth has found the Employment Practice Audit to be very valuable: “Mike Foley has done a thorough job of examining all of our hiring and HR policies and has recommended changes to both improve our personnel operations and improve employee satisfaction. Some of these changes have certainly helped us avoid legal problems.”
